BE VERY, VERY AFRAID (that it may sell out before you can get your tickets)
On Sale NOW!
Conceived, adapted and directed by Gary B. Lamb
Travel Poe Street into the dark, disturbing, weird and funny world of Edgar Alan Poe’s stories and poems. From the more popular to the obscure, these poems and stories will chill you, thrill you and get your tell-tale heart pumping. The poem The Raven is featured prominently in the latest Hunger Games book turned movie coming to theaters in November, so you may want to hear and experience it at PNT first! If you’ve never heard of Hop-Frog, you are definitely in for a wild ride. Performed in the reader’s theater style* the Parson’s Nose players have perfected; it is sure to bring your imagination to the brink of the pit. We’ll make sure you don’t fall in!
*Reader’s Theater Style is a fully rehearsed theatrical experience that brings a story to life through the power of the actor, the spoken word, and the imagination of the audience. The result is an intimate, engaging form of theater where the words take center stage.
Warning: Much of Poe’s work can be triggering even though they have a retribution/comeuppance moral to them. They deal with madness, revenge, and murder. Viewer discretion is advised.
